AirLife Sterile Water is available in a 4 ounce (120 mL) cup with a peel-back foil lid. Sterile water can be used in the suctioning process, mostly for cleaning purposes. It can be used to clean the suction catheter, lubricate the catheter, and test the suction machine without adverse effects. You can rinse out any secretions by suctioning some water through the catheter. This is important if you are reusing your suction catheter.
In addition, there is enough water for one procedure per cup.
