Covidien Mucus Specimen Trap with Vacuum Breaker and Filter is used for oral suction to rid an area of mucus and other fluids causing buildup. The trap contains a hydrophobic and a whistle tip suction catheter with slide-tex finish along with a transparent 20cc graduated mucus trap with a removable cap. An additional cap for transporting to another lab is a handy addition as well.
The trap is individually packaged for sterility and is for single patient use only. It's available in 8 French and 10 French sizes.
