These tubes are an excellent choice for both oral and nasal intubations where a shorter cuff is indicated. The intermediate-length, thin-walled cuff with moderate resting volume meets published cuff criteria guidelines. Cuff "drapes" over trachea wall to distribute pressure over an adequate surface area and create an efficient low-pressure seal. It expands and contracts with the trachea to fit a variety of tracheal shapes and sizes and help reduce the amount of pressure against the tracheal wall. The clear tube has a Murphy tip and eye for proper ventilation and a full Magill curve to reduce trauma during intubation. A Tip-To-Tip radiopaque line helps verify tip placement. These disposable tubes are individually packaged sterile unless package has been opened or damaged and are for single-patient use. Tubes are ethylene oxide gas sterilized and meet implant test per USP.
